SUPPLY CLERK

The U.S. Mission in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Supply Clerk in the General Services Section.
Opening Date : November 27, 2019
Closing Date : December 11, 2019

Work Schedule : Full-time (40 hours/week)
SALARY : *Ordinarily Resident (OR) : CFA 7,271,427. a. (Starting Salary)
(Position Grade : FSN-05)

ALL ORDINARILY RESIDENT (OR) APPLICANTS (See Appendix for definition) MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED WORK AND/OR RESIDENCY PERMITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION :

This position is in the Management Section of the General Services’ Office. Incumbent has primary responsibility for creating and maintaining records on Non-Expendable property for the Department of State and associated agencies. Position is directly supervised by the Property Supervisor - FSN-08.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

1. EDUCATION : Completion of secondary school education is required.

2. EXPERIENCE : Minimum of two years of clerical work experience is required.

3. LANGUAGE : Level III English (good working knowledge) speaking and writing is required. Level III French (fluent) speaking and writing is required. These may be tested.

4. SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Ability to use and comprehend trouble shooting data processing. Proven ability to carry out projects with limited supervision. Tactful. Ability to accurately and quickly evaluate condition of furniture and furnishings. These may be tested

5. JOB KNOWLEDGE : Knowledge of Asset Management policies and procedures. Good working knowledge of Department of State and other serviced agencies property management, inventory requirements and receiving regulations and procedures.
