Freedom is a state of mind
Thanks a lot Kerry !
Burkina Faso’s democracy is rising up. I am thrilled to believe that for once, we went to
through freely organized elections and that the outcomes were not contested by anybody.
But I would like to remind you that in your own Country, there has been a lot of controversy around police brutality and the killing of Black folks. Unfortunately our African brothers do not know that and still believe that there is perfect democracy for everyone including Blacks in the US. So my call at this time is to remind you that as you go around the world and teach people what to do in a democratic manner, I want you to look in your back yard and address the racial inequalities that are claiming lives on a daily basis.
John Kerry probably won’t read read this, but I’m purposefully posting this here so that my brother can think about it.
