ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
The U.S. Mission in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Clerk in the General Services Office.
Opening Date : March 19, 2021
Closing Date : April 04, 2021

Work Schedule : Full-time (40 hours/week)
SALARY : *Ordinarily Resident (OR) : CFA 8,824,957 p.a. (Starting Salary)
(Position Grade : FSN-06)

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION :

This position is in the Management Section of the General Services Office. Incumbent serves as the Administrative Clerk to the General Services Officer (GSO) performing a wide variety of secretarial and clerical duties. Serves as backup to Management Admin Clerk. Direct supervision is provided by the GSO.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

1. EDUCATION : Completion of two (2) years university studies in any field of public, private, or business administration is required (equivalent in local system is BTS, DUT or DTS in these specified fields.

2. EXPERIENCE : Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Office Management or Administrative Assistance is required.
3. LANGUAGE : English - (Good working knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
French- (Good working knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required. This will be tested.

4. SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
• Must be able to type 50 words per minute. Must have a basic knowledge of Office 365 that include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to conduct cash counts. This may be tested.

5. JOB KNOWLEDGE :
• Good knowledge of office and filing procedures is required. Familiarity working with cash receipts and/or petty cash.
