samedi 27 janvier 2018.The U.S. Embassy in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso is seeking individuals for the position of one Human Resource Clerk in the Human Resources Office. Opening Date : January 29, 2018 ALL ORDINARILY RESIDENT (OR) APPLICANTS (See Appendix for definition) MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED WORK AND/OR RESIDENCY PERMITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION. BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION : This position is located in the Human Resources Office. Job holder processes travel, employment and allotment related requests from both American and LE Staff. Incumbent maintains relevant portions of official personnel files physically and electronically. He/she provides support to HR Assistant in some recruitment related tasks and general administrative assistance to the entire HR section. Supervision is provided by Human Resources Officer. Required Qualifications : NOTE : All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified. • Education : Completion of Secondary School is required. • Work Experience : One year of general clerical experience is required. • Language Proficiency : Level III (Good working knowledge) of reading, writing and speaking English is required. Level III (Good working knowledge) of reading, writing and speaking French is required. English language skill will be tested. • Job Knowledge : Good understanding of administrative work is required, including establishing and maintaining files and setting up tracking systems for data. Good knowledge of U.S. Government personnel policies, regulations and procedures is required. • Skills and Abilities : Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power point). Good organizational interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to inspire confidence in local and American staff and maintain effective working relationships with employees and supervisors. Ability to respect and maintain impartiality and client confidentiality. Ability to prioritize effectively and monitor work to ensure quality and accuracy. Computer skills will be tested.
