Opening Date : March 21, 2016 Not-Ordinarily Resident (NOR) : FP-9 ALL ORDINARILY RESIDENT (OR) APPLICANTS (See Appendix A for definition) MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED WORK AND/OR RESIDENCY PERMITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION The incumbent has primary responsibility for receiving, tracking, and distributing official shipments for the Department of State (DOS) and other associated agencies. The incumbent rated by the Warehouse Supervisor and reviewed by the GS Specialist. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 1. Education : Completion of secondary school required. 2. Prior Work Experience : One year clerical or office experience is required. 3. Language Proficiency : Level II English (limited knowledge) speaking and reading is required. 4. Job Knowledge : Must have thorough knowledge of U.S. Government Procurement practices and regulations, with any special requirements for the serviced agencies. Should have basic grasp of B&F and shipping functions as they pertain to purchasing. Must have thorough familiarity with vendors of local services and supplies for all types of goods. 5. Skills and Abilities : Must be able to prepare and type reports in both English and French.
