Christian Aid is now looking to recruit a Finance Manager – to support our development and humanitarian work in Burkina-Faso and across Africa.

About the role

Role purpose is to manage the Christian Aid Burkina Faso finance function and lead and set professional financial and administration standards. Role will manage finance and administration staff in Christian Aid Burkina Faso. To be responsible for effective financial management including the preparation of financial plans and financial reports, managing the financial aspects of donor-funded programmes and appeal funding, supporting and building the financial capacity of Christian Aid staff in Burkina Faso, facilitating external, internal and donor audits and procurement. To manage partner financial capacity and compliance, manage the administrative function and providing guidance on office administration, procurement and management.

About you

This role sits within the Finance role family in the International Department. It is responsible for managing all aspects of the country finance function, which will include financial records, financial reports, budgets, donor funds, internal and external audits and providing financial support to Christian Aid staff. This role will manage other finance and administration staff. The role also manages partner financial capacity and compliance and the administrative functions.
